We were just told that it is fraud to bill payers that we are contracted with, the contracted rate instead of billing our set rate with the adjustment to the contracted rate. We wouldn’t take a payment less than the contracted rate and we wouldn’t just be billing different rates whenever…these are contracted rates.

Has anyone heard this before? Is it true?
