Can an MD doing a locum bill under the my PA’s credentials. For example:

A locum bills under my name. On the billing form, there is actual provider and billing provider.
When Dr Sanchez works as a locum, she is the actual and the billing provider is me.

She can only do that if I DO NOT see patients on the same day.

I want my locum physician to be the actual provider, but the billing provider would be my PA.

In other words, I am working, the PA is on vacation, and the physician covers for the PA.
