Hello all, I see that Medicare is reimbursing C9447 (Omidria) that is utilized during cataract surgery. My question is this…..the description of the code states an injection or instillation of liquid through an injection in the eye. My providers are using this in gel form and "instilling" it into the eye. I’ve been researching to see if this would be billable under C9447 without mentioning injection as this is gel. Does anyone have any information that I can share with my providers on this?
