Trying to bill out telehealth services that were provided in an inpatient hospital setting. I am reading that you use the place of service code 02, but from what I think I understand is that you use the address of the physician’s primary office location. But, if this is correct, how does the insurance know that the patient was in a rural setting? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
