Foley just to allow wound healing

Our Director of Nursing has placed a Foley cath so a patient can stay in bed while a pressure ulcer heals. I’ve coded the foley and the pressure ulcer, but she also wants a code to show that the foley is for wound healing. I’m coming up empty…I don’t think it exists. Anyone else have the same type of issue?

routine healing surgical wound, subsequent care at second facility

I need help getting started on the right track for coding a healing abdominal surgical wound. This patient had lysis of adhesions two days prior to transfer to another hospital. The patient was transferred for an unrelated condition to the abdominal surgery, nevertheless did receive attention to the wound which included removal of some of the staples. There were no complications of surgery, so where do I start in looking for the proper code for the abdominal wound. Is it considered a laceration and what external code would be appropriate?

Fracture healing 7th character

I have a question regarding a Home Health account that I was coding on a patient that had a slow-healing wound of a periprosthetic implant fracture. The fracture itself is healing routinely, but the skin and subcutaneous tissue is slowly healing. Here’s the question…would I use the "G" for the 7th character to capture the fracture code or would I use a "D" since that part is routinely healing, and use the T81.89XD for the skin complication. It is not dehisced or disrupted just slow healing. We are trying to figure this out.
Thanks for any help out there! Much appreciated.
