LE shockwave balloon lithotripsy

Hello

One of my physicians performed an intravascular lithotripsy in the common iliac artery using the Shockwave Balloon. Has any one billed for this? I have researched and have found nothing so I am assuming it will be an unlisted CPT code. I thought I would just throw this out there in case someone else has done this procedure.

thanks!

Surgeries done in Op Suite then transported to Lithotripsy Suite

My physician performs cysto’s with pyelograms and if needed, stent removals, placements, etc…

THEN

he dictates that he "trasports the patient to the lithotripsy suite and placed supine on the table".

I can’t find any real guidance on whether this would be considered a separate procedure by definition of a "separate encounter".

Any thoughts? If you agree or disagree, do you know of any documentation out there that supports either side?

Ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy and stent placement question

I think I am correct on this, but I just want to double check.

Urologist did a cystoscopy with right ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy, with bilateral stents placed. Am I correct to code this as 52356-RT and 52332-59LT? My reasoning is that only the stents are bilateral; the ureteroscopy and laser litho were right-sided only.

Thanks!
