New Website to Help Fellow Coders

I recently created a website to help fellow coders looking for guidance on coding surgical procedures for physicians. Currently I’ve published some articles that may help coders in the specialties of vascular surgery, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, and general surgery. I also plan to add additional content in the future.

My website is www.codingmastery.com. I hope the current articles on the site are helpful, and I invite you to reach out to me using the contact form on the website or here on the AAPC discussion board if you have ideas for additional topics/specialties you want to know more about. Happy coding :)

Dental And Medical Website Design Tips

There is no doubt that any website must look good and must have the right components in order to attract visitors. It is also true that the website must conform to the needs of the niche to be effective. Therefore, to be successful, your dental and medical website must have the essential characteristics to symbolize your practice.

A website that deals with a product must build upon the brand image of the product. However, a medical doctor or a dentist must showcase their professional expertise more than anything else. With that in mind, here are some of the most effective dental and medical website design tips.

How the website looks:
Dental and medical website designs must look attractive without appearing jazzy. A clean and clear professional look must be the objective. The use of appropriate pictures or small videos helps retain visitors to the website.

Web Content:
What the medical website contains is just as important as the design features of the website. The medical website design must give high importance to useful content. Existing and new patients must be able to find the information they seek by visiting the website. Therefore, the website must contain precise information pertaining to services offered, the techniques used, staff employed by the practice, facilities available and timings.

Showcasing expertise:
One of the most important aspects of effective medical website design is how successful it has been in showcasing the talent of the doctor or the dentist. As far as cosmetic dentists are concerned, it is vital to include before/after pictures of patients. Other doctors may put in testimonials from patients and could even include small video clippings of clients. This lends credibility to the doctor. Pictures and videos are also effective viral marketing devices in that these may be passed around on the web through emails and links to get you more clients.

Testimonials:
Great medical website designs never leave out what patients have to say. Customer service is most important when it comes to marketing a service. Thus, testimonials must be featured appropriately.

Navigation:
Effective navigation is another important characteristic of a great medical website. The structure of navigation must be simple yet clear. Visitors must not be left confused when they arrive at your website.

SEO:
SEO is an important aspect of a successful website, regardless of what business or niche is showcased. A good medical website design must use the right keywords, right meta tags, headlines and so on. By doing so, it is possible to ensure that the medical website scores exceptionally high search engine rankings. This increases the visibility of the doctor and brings in a large number of patients who would otherwise not know about the existence of the doctor.
