Cysto help

The op note reads as: A 30 degree cystoscope and a 22 French sheath was advanced to the patient’s urethra without difficulty. Upon entering the bladder cystoscopy was performed in a step wise uniform fashion including the dome, left lateral wall, right lateral wall and base. No gross abnormalities were noted. Right ureteral stent was identified, grasped and withdrawn to the urethral meatus. An 035 glidewire was advanced through the stent up to the level of the renal pelvis and stent was removed. Flexible ureteral scope advanced over the wire up to the level of the UPJ which did offer some resistance. Wire was withdrawn and a retrograde pyelogram was performed which showed a clear area of stenosis however patent UPJ. Ureteral scope was withdrawn under direct visualization with no other abnormalities of the ureter noted. Stent was not replaced to decrease ureteral edema prior to her pyeloplasty.

The surgeon wants 52005. But I’m leaning more towards 52351. But I’m still not sure that this code covers the stent removal.

Any help???

Thanks
