Experienced Medical Secretary needed to fill a part-time position for a busy Nephrology practice. Practice Manager and ChartMaker Clinical Software knowledge is helpful, but not required. Available days and hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Checking in patients
Updating patients charts (referring physicians, patient demographics, insurance information)
Collecting co-payments
Scanning documents and electronically filing into charts
Electronic faxing
Scheduling appointments
Answering phones
Coordinating appointments and scheduling necessary tests for kidney transplant recipients
