Hello, I’m looking for some help with Medicare MUE MAI 1 policy for claim line edit. I always took this to mean anything units above the MUE needed to be billing on a separate line.
Example, 88341 x12 units, billed as 88341×9 , 88341×3. I am still getting denials for the additional 3 saying they exceed the maximum allowed. I’m using correct X modifiers as well! How is this a line edit?? Any help is appreciated.
