I have a claim for surgery done for a Medicare Hospice patient that was denied by the patient’s primary plan which is FFS. They denied stating COB – Medicare Hospice. The problem was this patient was in a hospice and was released to the hospital where the surgery was done and was transferred to another care center a few days after the surgery. Please advise.
