Course Overview
As a Medical Coder, you’ll help connect doctors, patients, hospitals and insurance companies. Without trained Medical Coders who can translate every diagnosis, procedure and supply into a handy code, the healthcare industry would come to a stand-still. And because nearly every visit to the doctor or hospital requires properly coded documentation, the demand for Medical Coding Specialists continues to grow.
TeleDevelopment Services Inc., in partnership with PettiGrew Philippines Services (PPS) and (HIMOAP) offers you a 6-day Medical Coding Training & Certification program by the world’s largest medical coding organization – American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
This intensive training will equip the participants with the fundamentals of Medical Coding in preparation for passing the CPC (Certified Professional Coders) exam administered by the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC). The participants will learn how to code for diagnoses, procedures, and supplies using valid coding manuals and will practice filling out claim forms.
The AAPC medical coding curriculum is developed by top-level coders specifically for students in search for advance proficiency in medical coding. It increases the chances of getting hired and promoted in a competitive industry.
Eligibility
To be considered in the Medical Coding Training & Certification class, the participant must be a graduate of a 4-year college degree (any course) with a serious interest in medical coding. The program is highly recommended to graduates of Nursing or any relevant courses and medical coders who wish to gain advantage in their work field.
Program Venue
The class will be held at TeleDevelopment Services, Inc. facility, 35F Robinsons Equitable Tower, ADB Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Program Schedule
The boot camp will run for 5 days and the certification exam will take place on the 6th day. First batch of training will start on March 11, 2013. Certification Exam will be held on March 16, 2013.
Certification
Upon completion of the 5-day training, the participants will be qualified to take the CPC exam the next day. Test results will be available 7-10 business days.

3. Upon successful registration, enrollee will receive an email confirmation.
