D&C for confirmed pregnancy but no visable via ultrsound
Any ideas on the correct CPT for a D&C for a pregnancy confirmed by urine test but not visible on ultrasound? Would you use the 58120 non-ob D&C (that does not make sense to me) or an abortion code for 1st trimester 59840? Not sure if this impacts but the patient is requesting termination.
