Bridles for NG tubes

Hello,
I’m wondering if someone could assist me with trying to figure this out. Our pediatric GI mid-level was shown bridles that could be used to help keep NG tubes in place for our pediatric patients. From what I have found the NG bridles are a tube/clip mechanism applied to the NG tube and loop through to just outside the patient’s nose to keep the NG tube from being dislodged. From what information I have, the rep from the company advised our NP to bill 30999 for NG replacement and/or bridle placement. My thought is that the 30999 would not be appropriate and that NG tube replacements are bundled in with E/M services. Also the bridle would be considered inherent to the NG tube even though it is purchased separately.

If anyone has any experience with these, I would greatly appreciate it.

Lap occlusion of Fallopian tubes, right side only

Hello, new to ob/gyn coding and this has me stumped. CPT 58671 is a bilateral code. If only the right fallopian tube is occluded via band is it coded as 58671-RT. Does it matter if the payor is Medicare or Commerical? Coding for a facility and not a physicians office. Thank you.

Nasal Conformers/Nostril Sizers/Plastic Tubes

Need help with something new we are seeing in the hospital setting. After a cleft lip/palate repair the patients are coming to the hospital, because of their age, to have the nostril sizers/stents or tubes upsized. Is there a code for this procedure? We have been using CPT code 30999. Don’t like 31299 because that involves the sinus and 30220 is for a septal prosthesis. " Old stents were removed and the nostril sizers were used to decide the adequate size that would provide maximal support. The #7 sizer was a fit and place in and a suture was placed to anchor it in place". Any help is appreciated. Thanks Buttercup
