Patient had a gastro related surgery, now patient in post op days(90 days ) . During global days, if they performed CXR , Can we use modifier 79 with CXR. In super coder, we can find the modifier under the heading "Modifier guidelines" , modifier 79 not listed to use with 71010, whereas, under the heading " MODIFIER CROSS WALK -P", modifier 79 has listed . Since we are working for physicians, Please advice can we use modifier 79 as per the "Modifier Crosswalk -P". Plz make me clear on this…
