Our doctors see patients who have not been circumcised yet. So when they see these patients as a new patient and they document a comprehensive HPI, exam, and its a new problem and they prescribe a medication (Betamethasone cream) for the patient, is this considered a 99204? I feel this isn’t a severe enough problem for that. What are your thoughts?
