I am a biller for a family medicine and we were recently made aware by United Health Care that they will reimburse the after hours CPT code 99051 in addition to acute care services in an office setting place of service?

We are open a half day on Saturdays and would like to bill this code if the other insurances will reimburse for it as well. We are aware that Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, etc will not pay for it.

Has anyone else used the 99051 in billing an acute care visit? Which insurances have you had success with paying for it?
