I have had it with Encoder Pro and the lack of access when either they go down for maintenance or my local cable company has problems.

I really wish that the AAPC encoder was a desktop program (that could be verified and updated over the internet). I would switch in an instant! But I am not making a change for yet another website encoder.

Does ANYONE know of a DESKTOP encoder or coding software that IS NOT WEBSITE-BASED?
