A1 trigger release and flexor tenolysis same digit

My doctor has performed right tumb A1 trigger release and right thumb flexor tenolysis. He wants to bill 26442 (Tenolysis, flexor tendon; palm AND finger, each tendon) and 26055 (Tendon sheath incision eg, for trigger finger).

Can these codes be billed on the same finger? The diagnoses are: Right thumb trigger thumb and right thumb flexor synovitis.

Thank you.

9 Digit Mandated Service Code for Pennsylvania

Hello! I’m looking for assistance locating a 9 digit mandated service code for Pennsylvania. I work at an inpatient acute psychiatric center. We are trying to submit a w/c claim on a UB and the carrier is denying requesting an itemized statement this is service code. The only thing I have been able to find out is that all digits are numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciate!

Thanks!

4 Digit DRG?

Hi all, I’m reviewing a UB-04 that’s already been coded and the DRG (Box 71 PPS Code) is 7914. Aren’t all DRGs only 3 digits? I’m new to coding so maybe there are other uses for this box I’m not aware of.

A little enlightenment would be so appreciated!

Oh, other pertinent information:
1) Inpatient bill
2) Payer is Medicaid
3) Date of service was early 2016, so v34 I think
3) …anything else that would be helpful?

Thank you!

Mark
