Does anyone know the correct code when a patient comes into the ED for a SAFE exam with the SAFE nurse. We are debating whether Z14.40 or T76.2— should be used. Z14.40 is ruled out in the coding book while T76.2— is suspected. Any input is greatly appreciated!
