patient seeing two nephrologists
Our nephrologist in our practice, said a patient cannot see two nephrologists when they have ESRD and are on dialysis, if they have Medicare. So when a patient comes to see if they want to change to him and go to the Dialysis center that he runs, he doesn’t charge for that first visit. He has asked if BCBS has this same rule. I cannot find any information on this and have never heard of this rule.
