Weller is currently seeking 11 Coder/Educators across Florida. Areas of focus are Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers and Pensacola. These will be onsite positions respectively. We are seeking pre-encounter and post-encounter resources for 6 month + contracts with potential to go permanent. Resources will need 3-5 years ProFee and/or HCC coding experience, along with up to date credentials through AAPC or AHIMA. Details:
Pre-Encounter:
– Will look at the providers schedule for patients coming in
– Will scrub the chart for opportunities
– Looking for both diagnosis and HCC opportunities
Post-Encounter:
– Post patient work
– Will get the progress note to use
– The idea is to make sure the provider substantiated the progress note
– If not, this candidate will submit a query back to the provider, ask why it wasnt done and begin education
