Hi I am looking for someone who is experienced in podiatry surgery procedure who is willing to help out a beginner. I have coded many types of specialties but podiatry is really stumping me. I am having trouble with pulling the procedures. I am thinking that I am missing key words to accurately code the correct procedures.

Looking for a mentor regarding real world coding – Dallas Texas
Hello all,
I have been in billing for seven years and decided to study for coding and passed my CPC exam back in December of last year. My current employer is not willing to do any on the job or even allow me to shadow the few coders that are available. I am trying to find new employment as a CPC but no company is willing to train and expects two years experience minimum. Hi,
I am a new coder and have only been coding for 6 months now at my current position. Looking to connect with people who can help me improve my skills. I have looked online and there is nothing in the form of a Laboratory Science Coding Certification or Pathology Coding Certification. I really like this specialty and want to excel at what I do. If anyone is interested or has any pointers or guidance that would be great. If you are in the Bay Area would I love to meet at a local library or coffee shop and talk lab/path coding or start a lab/path group that meets once a month that would be awesome!

Mentor (kind of) for foot & ankle coding
I have been coding surgeries in an ortho office for a few years and we recently had a foot and ankle specialist join the group.
