CRC Exam Prep Course Advice

I recently purchased the CRC prep course. This is my first time taking a distance learning course for a certification. My CPC and CPMA were both in person training courses. For those who have taken the CRC Online Prep and sat for the exam, what would be your best suggestion/advice for reviewing the content provided? I am trying to see the best way to tackle the chapters. I see that each chapter has reading material, quizzes, lectures and a chapter review exam. Is it best to read the content, review the lecture and highlight info discussed, then take the quizzes and chapter review exam? The in person training’s were always very helpful as the instructors would really emphasize the important information to know, review and study. There is so much info in the reading material that I just wanted to see the best way to review all the content that will be beneficial in sitting for the exam. Anyone who has previously taken and successfully completed the training and obtained their certification that could provide any helpful feedback would be great! Thank you.

CUC Exam Prep & References

I am studying for the CUC Exam and want to make sure if the AMA CPT Coding Essentials for Urology & Nephrology 2018 is approved to take in to the test as a reference book.
I understand the CPT & ICD10CM are used and I am prficient with those books but find I use this book a great deal in the office.
And if anyone is familiar with the CUC exam I would like to know if it is a multiple choice
exam like the practice exam online.

CCC Exam Prep

Hello all,

Getting ready to take the CCC at the end of February. I have the AAPC Practice Exam and Study Guide from 2017. Going to call AAPC to see it Practice Exam they are offering is a new one for 2018. I am looking for study suggestions, especially if you have recently taken the exam. I saw a book by Medical Coding Pro titled CCC Exam Study Guide 2017 (I shortened the official title). Anyone used it? Know anything about it? The practice exam seemed to have several questions about diagnostic (TTE/Stress ECHO), and Event Monitors. I’ve never coded any event monitors before. I’ve been in Cards doing procedures, both Interventional and EP for 4 plus years. Also Inpt. and Outpt. E/M abstracting for the last year and a half. I have Dr. Z’s 2017 book I will use for my resource. Any tips are appreciated. Any additional sources for study/review would be helpful as well.

Thanks,
Glenn
