CMS 2018 FACILITY (ASC) fee schedule

Can anyone point me to exactly where I can find ALL of the CPT codes accepted by CMS/Medicare w/their associated 2018 fee schedule? I’ve tried searching for Facility Fee schedule, ASC fee schedule, Facility ASC fee schedule, fee schedule and can’t seem to find it. It’s gotta be there, somewhere. Not looking for Physician/surgeon fee schedules (at the moment, though will come in handy, soon). Looking specifically for the Facility fee schedule (for an ASC) to bill for surgeries performed there. I’m finding the Medicare/CMS website very difficult to navigate.

Any help would be appreciated…

Remote Physicians Office Alaska – New Practice Credentialing/Reimbursement Schedule

I am currently working for a group practice that serves both the Anchorage, AK area and the Kodiak, AK area. Kodiak being a remote service location with minimal clinic and hospital coverage for maternity care. The practice is new and wants to be able to charge a higher remote service location fee schedule for the Kodiak, AK office since this area generally gets reimbursed at a higher level because of the location whereas they would also like to charge a lower fee schedule for the Anchorage, AK office because it would not be considered remote and is in the city. How can one do this while still using the same Tax ID, NPI, etc? Is this even possible or will they need to separate practices?

I was also wondering if it is okay to charge insured and uninsured patients alike for the travel costs associated with the providers traveling back and forth from Anchorage – Kodiak since these are non-covered services? The provider has in the past had the patient sign an agreement to pay these travel charges out of pocket 100% as non-covered services. Is this okay?

Recently passed Federal Budget will tweak/adjust Medicare Physician Fee Schedule

We put together this article on the recently passed 2018 Federal Budget and how it will positively impact 2018 Fee Schedules for Medicare providers in 53 of the 112 Medicare Localities

The Medicare Contractors have been relatively mum about this change and it is not yet clear how they will handle claims already submitted/paid and claims that are currently in queue. Only one MAC has released information.

This story is still developing…

2018 Annual Update for Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule

The codes that are considered a laboratory test under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) change each year. These codes require a facility to have either a CLIA certificate of registration (type code 9), a CLIA certificate of compliance (type code 1), or a CLIA certificate of accreditation (type code 3). A facility with a CLIA […]

Multiple Procedure discounts, apply to fee schedule or discount later?

Good Afternoon,

Was wondering if anyone applies multiple procedure discounts to their fee schedule or if you just discounted later on?

I would post full charge, with multiple procedure modifier, and then discount after process if applicable.

Was wondering what others thoughts are on this. Thank You!
